Mrs. LaVerne Waters-Cray is Snow Hill Elementary’s Guidance Counselor.  She came to SHES in 2006 after teaching and working at Pocomoke Elementary School for 10 years.  Mrs. Waters-Cray attended Snow Hill Schools and then went on to Salisbury University, earning a degree in Elementary Education, and Wilmington University where she received her Master’s degree in School Counseling. Mrs. Cray's two children are students at Snow Hill Elementary School.

Dr. David Gell came to SHES as it’s Assistant Principal in 2005.  Prior to that, he taught Math & Science at Wicomico Middle School in Salisbury.  Dr. Gell received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from Salisbury University, and his Doctorate degree from UMES.  Dr. Gell’s two children currently attend Snow Hill Middle School.

Dr. Mary Anne Cooper has been in the education field since 1991 when she began her career in Baltimore City Public Schools.  In 1997, she and her family moved to Worcester County where she taught 7th grade at Snow Hill Middle School. While at Snow Hill Middle, she was a Resource teacher, Curriculum Planner, and Assistant Principal. In July 2013, Dr. Cooper began her tenure as Principal at Snow Hill Elementary School. Dr. Cooper received her Bachelor's degree from the College of Notre Dame and her Master's degree from Salisbury University. She graduated with her Doctorate in Education from Wilmington University in 2011.
