Snow Hill Elementary School offers two After School Programs to meet the educational, health, social service, cultural and recreational needs of students. The Haven HouseAfter School Program provides homework assistance, academic enrichment, and youth development to students at Snow Hill Elementary School. There is no charge for this program. Enrolled students receive transportation, snack and homework assistance. Parental training sessions are offered monthly to all families. The C.A.R.E. After School Academy (College/Career Assessment Readiness for Everyone) was developed to increase student achievement through a rigorous Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Character Education focused curriculum with enrichment opportunities coupled with the writing process. Students in Second and Third grades at SHES are eligible to attend the C.A.R.E. program. The program is free and includes transportation, a snack and homework assistance.
